Several stores were damaged and looted in Brooklyn Center during the unrest that followed the death of 20-year-old Daunte Wright who was shot by the police.
Several businesses had broken windows and doors on Monday, after some protesters broke into the Shingle Creek Crossing shopping centre.
The Minnesota National Guard was deployed on the streets amid the unrest.
According to local authorities, Wright was pulled over on Sunday afternoon, but reentered the vehicle and continued driving, after which the police fired at him. Wright crashed his car a few blocks away and was later pronounced dead.
The incident took place about 10 miles (16 kilometres) from the spot where George Floyd was killed during an arrest in May last year.
