⁣White House coronavirus task force provides an update on Sunday, April 5th, as cases of COVID-19 across the United States top 330,000 and the death toll approaches 10,000.

This evening, from Windsor Castle, Queen Elizabeth II delivered a hopeful but cautious address to the U.K. while Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been taken to the hospital with increased severity of symptoms, 10 days after he was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Americans know they are facing a threat, but they aren't sure exactly how it may impact the economy, the country's politics or society at large. Public health officials can't say when social distancing or quarantines will end. Some people don't know whether they'll have a job to go back to or a business to reopen. No matter how often someone washes their hands, they can't ensure they won't get sick.

More than 50 Secret Service agents have been injured during ugly clashes outside the White House on a sixth night of violence sparked by the death of George Floyd.

The attacks came after President Trump was reportedly moved to a secure bunker usually used during terror attacks as heated protests escalated across Washington D.C.

Agents rushed Trump to the Presidential Emergency Operations Center as they were nervous for his safety, the New York Times reported.

A senior official involved in defending Washington D.C. later told Fox News dozens of Secret Service officers were injured in clashes on Sunday night.

The source also claimed some rioters were seen throwing bottles and Molotov cocktails at law enforcement officers.

Others were spotted parking cars near the 'President's Palace' filled with incendiary materials for future use, Fox News reported it was told.

Ruptly is live from New York City on Saturday, June 6, as people continue protesting against police brutality and racial discrimination almost two weeks after the death of George Floyd.

Floyd was a 46-year-old black man who was killed during an arrest in Minneapolis on Monday, May 25, after police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes despite Floyd saying he couldn’t breathe. The officer was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter. Later the other three officers involved in the arrest were also charged.

The incident sparked massive protests across the US and other countries around the world. ​
