BTS expressed support for the Black Lives Matter movement in the United States, standing in solidarity to protest against racism and violence.
On June 4, BTS tweeted on its official twitter account saying, "We stand against racial discrimination. We condemn violence. You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together," with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter.
