It’s a look inside the store where George Floyd was shopping just before his tragic death. Jamar Nelson is a spokesman for Cups Foods and gave Inside Edition a tour. Owner Mahmoud Abumayyaleh says he wants the world to know he’s heartbroken that what happened inside the store led to Floyd’s horrific death. He says the clerk working that day was inexperienced and called police when their money counting machine flagged the $20 bill Floyd used as counterfeit after he’d left the store.

Two Australian journalists have been set upon while reporting on Black Lives Matter protests in London.

Nine News correspondent Ben Avery was crossing to the Today show this morning when he was ambushed by demonstrators and forced to abandon his live coverage.

It comes after Nine's Europe Correspondent Sophie Walsh was attacked live on air while previewing a Black Lives Matter protest last night.

Ms Walsh was live on the evening news in Adelaide when a man allegedly said Allahu Akbar before grabbing her.
Her cameraman managed to chase down the attacker and hold him until police arrived.

He was allegedly found in possession of a screwdriver and arrested for threats to kill and carrying a weapon.

The charges against ex-police officer Derek Chauvin, who knelt on George Floyd's neck as he begged for air, have been elevated to second-degree murder, and the three other officers at the scene are now charged with aiding and abetting. CBSN's Elaine Quijano spoke about the charges with Michele Rayner-Goolsby, the founder and principal attorney of Civil Liberty Law, who also works with Ben Crump Law, the law firm representing Floyd's family.

The name of the police officer in Minneapolis who was seen on a viral video kneeling on a Black man's neck until he died has been identified. The man who died, George Floyd, was identified by civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump, While none of the officers were identified by the department, the Minneapolis Star Tribune revealed that the main officer, seen kneeling on the neck of George Floyd as he explained he couldn’t breathe is named Derek Chauvin.
