Coronavirus threat could force cancellation of sport events

Major sporting events which draw huge crowds could be cancelled if Australia suffers a major coronavirus outbreak.

If a pandemic was to be declared, Australia would implement plans which prevented people from gathering in large congregations.

Major sporting events have already been cancelled across the world, but the Australian government has stressed events will only be cancelled as a last resort.
