スカパラが3月18日にリリースするデビュー30周年を記念したベストアルバム『TOKYO SKA TREASURES 〜ベスト・オブ・東京スカパラダイスオーケストラ〜』に収録する新曲のゲストボーカルがaikoであることを発表。
2/8に放送されたテレビ朝日系「ミュージックステーション」の放送時間内に流れたスカパラのベストアルバム告知CMのなかでの発表となった。
告知CMでは谷中敦(Baritone sax)がナレーションをつとめ、「めくれたオレンジ feat. 田島貴男」、「カナリヤ鳴く空 feat. チバユウスケ」、「美しく燃える森 feat. 奥田民生」、「星降る夜に feat. 甲本ヒロト」、「Paradise Has No Border feat. さかなクン」、「道なき道、反骨の。 feat. Ken Yokoyama」、「明日以外すべて燃やせ feat. 宮本浩次」、「リボン feat. 桜井和寿」とMusic Videoが順次流れるなか、谷中のバリトンボイスが新たなゲストボーカルを『aiko』と発表すると同時に、英国調のカラーストライプ・スーツを身に纏ったスカパラとaikoの10人が、太陽の下で優しく微笑んでいる最新ビジュアルも公開となった。

スカパラのゲストボーカルと言えば、メンバーによる作曲、谷中敦(Baritone sax)による作詞で、2001年から2002年にかけて田島貴男、チバユウスケ、奥田民生をゲストボーカルに迎えて挑んだ”歌モノ”シングル3部作を皮切りに、ベストアルバムにも収録されているハナレグミ、Chara、甲本ヒロト、伊藤ふみお、Crystal Kay、斉藤和義、中納良恵、アンジェロ・ムーア、細美武士、尾崎世界観、片平里菜、Ken Yokoyama、斎藤宏介、峯田和伸、TOSHI-LOW、宮本浩次、桜井和寿といった数々の素晴らしいボーカリストがスカパラの”歌モノ”の系譜を彩ってきており、さらに、10-FEET、MONGOL800、ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATIONはゲストボーカルという枠を飛び越えて、バンドコラボ3部作として新たな彩を添えている。

Unknown to humans, a secret war has been raging between cats and dogs for eons, but a fragile truce has long held the order of the animal kingdom in place. Now the balance of power has tipped, as a researcher, Professor Brody (Jeff Goldblum), is about to invent a vaccine that will erase all human allergies to dogs. This is too much for the autocratic Mr. Tinkles (Sean Hayes), a white Persian kitty bent on world domination.
