Security video appears to show George Floyd in a struggle in the back of a police vehicle before he died in the custody of Minneapolis police. Speaking to Floyd’s family, the Minneapolis police chief called officers who stood by as Floyd was dying “complicit.” The acknowledgment left Floyd’s brother sobbing. Video Appears To Show George Floyd In Struggle In Police Vehicle | TODAY

In the wake of the death of her brother, George Floyd, after he was pinned to the ground by a Minneapolis police officer, Bridgett Floyd talks to TODAY along with her family’s attorney, Benjamin Crump. Four officers involved with the incident have been arrested, but Bridgett says, “I would like for those officers to be charged with murder.” Crump says that videos of the incident that have not been shown yet will emerge and adds, “We have to send a message with this case.”

George Floyd’s Sister On His Death In Minneapolis Police Custody: ‘They Murdered My Brother’ | TODAY

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety says a tanker truck driver is in custody after speeding through marchers protesting the death of George Floyd on the Interstate 35W Bridge in Minneapolis Sunday. DPS Commissioner John Harrington says it appears that no protesters on the southbound lanes of the interstate were seriously hurt. He estimates that 5,000 to 6,000 people were on the bridge at the time the truck sped through.

On memorial day 2020 George Floyd was killed by police officers in Minneapolis. Since then peaceful protests have coincided with acts of vandalism. Here are scenes taken during a ride down a mile long section of Lake Street in the early afternoon of 5.28.2020. This is such a sad situation in every aspect, hopefully justice can be served and Minneapolis can learn, rebuild, and grow stronger.
