This is definitely not my typical video... Hopefully you guys can understand.

There's an absurd amount of videos surfacing from the George Floyd protests across the country showing police violence and extreme aggression. I felt the need to compile and document it.

I don't know what to say at this point. The way our police forces and government operates has left me speechless. I wish i had answers.

I stand with #BlackLivesMatter

Remember George Floyd and the many other individuals like him that lost their life to senseless violence.

LIVE: Man Fatally Shot by Brooklyn Center Police - April 11, 2021 WorldViralMedia 19 Views • 4 years ago

A Brooklyn Center officer fatally shot a 20-year-old man during a traffic stop Sunday afternoon, with a large crowd forming in the aftermath and police in riot gear holding the area. Police tried to stop the driver on the 6300 block of Orchard Ave. shortly before 2 p.m., when they learned he had an outstanding warrant, according to a media release from Brooklyn Center police.

When officers were trying to take him into custody, the driver re-entered the vehicle, police said. An officer discharged their firearm, striking the driver, who continued driving several blocks before hitting another vehicle near 63rd Ave. N. & Kathrene Dr.

Officers who were in pursuit rendered aid to the man at the crash site, but he died a short time later. A female passenger in the man’s vehicle had non-life-threatening injuries from the crash and was taken to the hospital. No one in the vehicle that was struck was hurt.

Family members at the scene identified the man as Daunte Wright, though he has not yet been identified by authorities. Wright’s mother said he called her on the phone to say he was getting pulled over, she told those gathered near the scene Sunday.

As officers locked down the area, a crowd grew larger and more vocal. Officers in full riot gear formed a line to keep the crowd back, and at least two squad cars were damaged by large rocks, with several people seen standing atop them in livestreams shared to social media.

Wright’s family and community leaders called for calm as the facts of the incident still come to light.

“The officer shooting in Brooklyn Center today is tragic. We are asking the protesters to continue to be peaceful and that peaceful protesters are not dealt with with force.” Brooklyn Center Mayor Mike Elliot said in a tweet.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating the officer-involved shooting and more information is expected in the coming days. Brooklyn Center officers wear body cameras and their dash camera video should be made available during the investigation.

Even the World Health Organisation forecasts a world of pain. It says the virus poses a greater global threat than terrorism. That’s bad enough, but medical experts tell 60 MINUTES it’s actually even more terrifying. Professor Gabriel Leung, who led the fight against the SARS virus, believes 60 per cent of the world’s population could become infected with COVID-19 and that up to 45 million people might die from it. For this story, Liam Bartlett has travelled to Hong Kong and Thailand to find out the likely cause of the disease, as well as the latest ongoing efforts to combat it. At all times he and his crew have followed medical advice and undertaken strict protocols to limit their exposure to potential danger. 60 Minutes have been telling Australians the world’s greatest stories. Beirut EXPLOSION that killed dozens of people CLOSE VIEW

Two violent explosions in the port of Beirut caused at least 27 deaths and 2,500 injuries on Tuesday in what the Health Minister considered "a catastrophe in every way."

Health Minister Hamad Hassan assured that these are "preliminary estimates".

"It is a catastrophe in every way," he regretted when questioned on television when visiting a hospital in the capital. "The hospitals in the capital are all full of wounded," he stressed, before asking that other wounded be transferred to hospital centers on the outskirts of the capital.

Earlier, General Security Director-General Abas Ibrahim had said the blasts could be due to "highly explosive materials confiscated for years," but added that the investigation will determine the "exact nature of the incident."

However, those responsible must "be held accountable," Prime Minister Hasan Diab said.

Videos broadcast on social media showed a first explosion followed by another that caused a gigantic plume of smoke. The deflagrations shook neighboring buildings and caused glass to break several kilometers around.

President Michel Aoun called an "urgent meeting" of the Higher Defense Council and the Prime Minister decreed a day of national mourning for this Wednesday.

"It is a catastrophe inside (the port). There are corpses on the floor. Ambulances are taking the bodies," a soldier near the port told AFP.

Local media released images of people trapped in the rubble, some covered in blood.

"It felt like an earthquake and then a huge deflagration and the windows were broken," a Lebanese woman in central Beirut told AFP.

A ship moored in the port was on fire, AFP journalists found. An officer asked journalists to stay away from the sector, fearing an explosion of fuel from the ship.
