Global News Washington Bureau Chief Jackson Proskow was on the streets of Washington, D.C. where protesters rushed past him while he was live on-air for Global National. Police appeared to release pepper spray or tear gas in order to disperse the crowd near the White House on Sunday.
Protests have taken place in at least 76 cities across the U.S. this past weekend and in some cases the authorities have lost complete control. Jennifer Johnson has the latest on the riots and violence spreading across America.

Violent protests erupted for the second night in Minneapolis on Wednesday over the police killing of George Floyd, a black man who was seen on video being arrested by four police officers shortly before his death.
Video taken of Floyd's arrest show the man pleading for medical assistance on the ground as one officer places his knee upon Floyd's neck while detaining him for several minutes. Subsequent reports have indicated that Floyd was unarmed and under investigation for using counterfeit money at a corner store.
Photos and video from Wednesday night's demonstrations show businesses burning as looters struck some local stores including a Target department store.

Video posted on Twitter by Buffalo, New York public radio station WBFO on Thursday (June 4) shows what appears to be police officers in the city shoving a man who then collapses and bleeds from his ears.
According to a statement from Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and tweeted by WBFO, the man is 75 years old and in stable but serious condition, and the two officers have been suspended without pay.
