Muzaffarnagar riots - Communal Riots

Director Richard Linklater's follow-up to Slacker takes an autobiographical look at some Texas teens (including Ben Affleck and Matthew McConaughey) on their last day of school in 1976, centering on student Randall Floyd (Jason London), who moves easily among stoners, jocks and geeks. Floyd is a star athlete, but he also likes smoking weed, which presents a conundrum when his football coach demands he sign a "no drugs" pledge.

Earlier today on CNN, Van Jones make a very important point. That when it comes to discrimination and prejudice against black people, he fears white moderates like Amy Cooper who support people like Hillary Clinton most of all. Without them, the actions of people like Derek Chauvin in taking the life of Floyd George wouldn't be possible.

Van Jones gave us a clear reminder that hatred is not as partisan as many would like to believe.

U.S. presidential adviser Ivanka Trump took to Twitter on Tuesday to support Goya Foods after the largest Hispanic-owned U.S. food company became the target of a social media boycott campaign sparked by its CEO's effusive praise for President Donald Trump.

"If it's Goya, it has to be good," Ivanka, daughter of Donald Trump, tweeted the company's slogan in English and then repeated it in Spanish on Tuesday night.

Ivanka's tweet, in which she is seen holding a can of Goya's black beans, garnered over 35,000 retweets and 62,000 likes in little over 4 hours.

However, her comments could violate government ethics rules prohibiting the use of public office to endorse products or advance personal business gains. The U.S. Office of Government Ethics did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment.

White House adviser Kellyanne Conway was criticized in 2017 after she appeared to break similar federal ethics rules when she said on television that Americans should "go buy Ivanka's stuff."

The White House did not take any disciplinary action against Conway even after calls from the ethics watchdog.

In an interview with Fox News last week, Conway decried the Goya Foods controversy. "It's just a shame that people make everything so politicized, including food," she said.

The hashtags #Goyaway and #BoycottGoya trended on Twitter after Robert Unanue, chief executive officer of the New Jersey-based company, appeared with Trump at the White House on Thursday for the signing of an executive order creating an advisory panel aimed at spurring Hispanic prosperity.

"We're all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump who is a builder, and that’s what my grandfather did,” Unanue, who is the third generation of his family to run the business, had said.

Trump himself weighed in on the dispute late on Friday, writing on Twitter simply: "I LOVE @GoyaFoods!"

https://ni.readpdfonline.xyz/?book=0743267206
From the authors of the bestselling ChiRunning comes a revolutionary program that blends the health benefits of walking with the core principles of Tai Chi to deliver maximum physical, mental, and spiritual fitness. The low-impact health benefits of walking have made it one of the most popular forms of daily exercise. Yet few people experience all the benefits that walking can offer. In ChiWalking, Danny and Katherine Dreyer, well-known walking and running coaches, teach the walking technique they created that transforms walking from a mundane means of locomotion into an intensely rewarding practice that enhances mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Similar to Pilates, yoga, and T;ai Chi, ChiWalking emphasizes body alignment and mindfulness while strengthening the core muscles of the body. The five mindful steps of the ChiWalking program will get anyone, regardless of age or athletic ability, into great shape from head to toe, inside and out. 1. Get aligned. Develop great posture and better balance. 2. Engage your core. Make back and knee pain disappear. 3. Create balance. Walk faster, farther, and with less effort. 4. Make a choice. Choose from a menu of twelve great walks such as the Cardio Walk, the Energizing Walk, or the Walking Meditation, to keep your exercise program fresh. 5. Move forward. Make walking any distance a mindful, enjoyable experience, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned walker.
