For people with physical disabilities, issues with sexual function, or a total lack of experience, the path to getting off can be isolating and just plain awkward. However, a group of sex surrogates have pioneered a radical hands-on approach called "medically assisted sexuality" to help fulfill the intimacy needs of people with handicaps.

In this episode of 'Slutever,' host Karley Sciortino investigates this culturally taboo therapeutic treatment, and meets the clients and practitioners straddling the line between therapy and sex work.

In 2015, 51 years on from desegregation, the American police killed over 100 unarmed African-Americans. They represented 37% of police deaths, despite occupying only 13% of the population. Black Lives Matter continues to push for racial justice, but is a global movement growing in controversy as much as it is prominence. This event brings together the mothers of individuals whose deaths have drawn attention to racist and even fatal law enforcement with the founders of the movement.

Panellists:

Sybrina Fulton - Mother of Trayvon Martin

Geneva Reed-Veal - Mother of Sandra Bland

Valerie Bell - Mother of Sean Bell

Gwen Carr - Mother of Eric Garner

Brittany Packnett - Co Founder of Campaign Zero, formerly serving Ferguson Commission and President Obama's Task Force on 21st Century Policing

Patricia Hill - Former President of African-American Police League, calling for a community-orientated approach to policing and more black police officers

DeRay Mckesson - an American civil rights activist and educator.

Growing Protests Nationwide After Death of George Floyd | NBC Nightly News

Protesters took to the streets on Monday in Washington, D.C. just hours after U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the nation on the ongoing protests rocking many U.S. states.

In his televised remarks, Trump said a 7 p.m. curfew would be “strictly enforced” within Washington D.C. as well, promising lengthy jail sentences and severe criminal penalties for anyone caught breaking the law.

According to The Associated Press, between 600 and 800 National Guard members from five states were now being sent to assist the U.S. capital, citing senior defence officials.

Earlier on Monday, Trump had mocked the nation’s governors as “weak,” demanding that they enforce tougher crackdowns and more arrests in their states amid another night of violent protest in several American cities.

The protests, which were sparked by the death of George Floyd — a Black man who died of suffocation after a video showed a white Minneapolis police officer with a knee on Floyd’s neck — have now entered their second week.

Autopsies performed by the Minnesota state coroner and one hired by the family of George Floyd have both ruled Floyd's death a homicide, although they differ on the specific cause of death.
