The protest was sparked by the recent killing of 46-year old black man George Floyd in Minneapolis, who lost his life at the hands of a police officer.

Massive protests erupted across the US and other countries. The officer who knelt on Floyd was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter on Friday, while protesters demand the arrest of other three officers involved.

A scuffle broke out and punches were thrown outside Downing Street in London during the ‘Black Lives Matter’ protest. It is not clear what started the altercation which saw clashes between protesters and the police.
