Bahkan hingga ambulans tiba, polisi masih menindik lehernya.

George Floyd & The Minneapolis Riots Reinforce why Civilized Society NEEDS the Second Amendment

Just Days ago, Minneapolis was a well-functioning city and overnight it turned to chaos. For years people have mocked gun owners, asking questions like, “Why do you need that, what do you think is going to happen?” We don’t live in the Wild Wild West anymore, we live in a civilized society, whey does anyone need a gun in a civilized society?

Yeah, the same civilized society that has had 2 world wars and debatably on the verge of a third. So I ask, can anyone guarantee that there will never be another world war? Can anyone Guarantee the Koreans won't have to defend their livelihood again with guns like during the LA riots? Can you guarantee me that Katrina won’t happen again? Or better yet, of all the people who went and bought a gun for the very first time just months ago, how many of them thought they’d be dealing with a pandemic that forced them to see their vulnerability and motivated them to buy a gun for the first time? Can you guarantee that any of this will never happen again?

George Floyd Murder Protest - Fairfax Ave Los Angeles
George Floyd Murder Protest - Fairfax Ave Los Angeles WorldViralMedia 7 Views • 5 years ago

LA-OC.tv NEWS

05.30.20 | 6:30 PM | Los Angeles, CA | Fairfax District -- An initially peaceful protest march Saturday, along Fairfax. in Los Angeles, was held to demand justice in the 5/25/20 murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis. L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti called for an 8 p.m. curfew to regain the peace, but looters and arsonists overran the protesters, rampaging far into the night on this fourth day of rage and grief and Covid-19 frustrations. The rioters wrought a heartbreaking path of devastation in their wake, leaving the Fairfax streets looking more like an apocalyptic movie scene than an otherwise lovely California spring night.

Janice Hahn, Los Angeles County Supervisor, summed up the situation eloquently, "We must stand in solidarity against the deaths of unarmed black men at the hands of law enforcement, but please don't destroy our Los Angeles. This is not a protest anymore."

Floyd, who was in police custody in Minneapolis on May 25, was suffocated by police officer Derek Chauvin while bystanders helplessly pled for his life. Three of Chauvin's fellow officers stood by, offering no intervention on Floyd's behalf. Numerous video footage of the atrocity was broadcast via internet outlets worldwide, causing a global outcry of rage and indignation.
